Having started her career as a P.E. teacher, lecturer and assessor, Annie now has extensive experience of Health business at National and European level, with specific expertise in cardiovascular health prevention, treatment and management through activity and exercise interventions, and workforce training.  Annie has worked closely with Health Commissioners to provide and manage various community health services across England and Ireland, leading clinical and non-clinical teams.

Annie is passionate about maximising physical activity as a fundamental means of improving physical and mental health for our communities – it is such an untapped resource which needs exploiting!  Let’s get on and do it…..

In his spare time, Andy is Independent Chair of Port Vale Foundation, a manager of a grassroots football team and a keen runner (usually with a Springer Spaniel), currently training for the London Marathon in October 2022, raising money for Alzheimers Society.

Ali Clements

Economy and Sport Growth Manager - Active Together (formerly, Leicester-Shire and Rutland Sport) working 1 day per week for the Active Partnership National Team.

07785 766644
a.clements@active-together.org

Ali is seconded to the national team one day a week.

Ali joined the Active Together/LRS team as it was at the time back in 2018 to take on a new role for the organisation rolling out the Sport and Economy Growth Plan for the area. Ali's background had been in sports development, fitness, children/family weight management and an integrated healthy lifestyle service prior to joining the team and taking on this role.

In Ali's role for the Active Partnership National Team she aims to connect, enable and support other Active Partnerships to share the learning, projects and successes linked to this huge agenda. Then, use this learning to align to the Partnerships local needs and apply this in a context which works for their areas.

Ali's blog shares more information about this area of work.

Ali enjoys being active, anything outdoors, cycling, running, open water swimming, although fondly remembers a time when her non-work time was her own, rather than trying to catch and hour here and there to got out and move more!!

Graeme Sinnott

Realtionships Partner

07795 067 066
gsinnott@ActivePartnerships.org

Graeme joined the national team in March 2014 and held a number of roles before moving into the Relationships Partner role.

Through this role Graeme makes it his mission to change the structures, policies and behaviours that are preventing active lives from being the social norm for everyone. A challenge that he believes can be achieved by bringing people together across organisational boundaries. Building meaningful relationships and mobilising assets to drive collective action and tackle inequalities.

Outside of work Graeme enjoys walking, visiting the Lake District, golf, cricket and football
