Aspire's 'Active Body Healthy Mind' project offers supported sport and physical activity sessions to people experiencing mental ill health in Oxfordshire. It offers a range of activities including Boxercise, Football, Canoeing, Climbing & Fishing all designed to help individuals improve their physical fitness, help build their confidence and self-esteem, improve their mental health and build positive relationships.
To date the project has;
- 19 activities on offer
- 679 particpants involved
- 2690 sessions completed
- 17 people gained sporting qualifications
