Energise Me kicked off September in style with the launch of their new Pride in our Workforce resource.

This resource grew out of a research project, which was funded by Sport England. Energise Me teamed up with Bournemouth University to explore the role the workforce could play in increasing LGBT+ access to physical activity and sport. The resulting Pride in Our Workforce research report revealed untapped potential to boost participation.

The findings from this research has been turned them into a simple resource to help you develop the knowledge and confidence to promote a safe space for members of LGBT+ communities.

Whatever your role, you unite communities through a common passion for physical activity and sport and generally getting people more active!

How to use this resource

This resource comes in two parts. There’s an introductory guide, packed with tips and recommendations. There’s also a set of scenario slides for people to work through on their own or with colleagues.

Both parts of the resource can be downloaded below.
