Satellite Clubs

Active Partnerships are using the national Satellite Club programme to bridge the gap between school, college and community sport. The aim of the programme is to give young people aged 14-19, who aren’t already active – particularly those who in groups typically under-represented in sport, the opportunity to take part regularly in sport in an enjoyable and convenient setting.

Between 2019-21, Active Partnerships will engage with more than 50,000 young people through Satellite Clubs and they will work hard with local partners to engage under-represented young people in sport and activity
