In the Summer 2020 The Active Essex Foundation were able to quickly mobilise their network of locally trusted organisations to deliver a programme that provided fun physical activity, for five days a week with every child being provided with a nutritious meal.
To support children across Somerset during the COVID-19 pandemic the Early Years team at SASP reached out to the EYFS communities offering them an opportunity to take part in some virtual live physical activity lessons.
A campaign encouraging all education settings across the Black Country to commit to and provide all pupils with access to one hour of wellbeing and physical activity each day, including during the school curriculum or for pupils still learning remotely from home.

Concern for the most vulnerable children in Gloucestershire created an opportunity for us to contribute to Gloucestershire County Council’s working group for ‘Out of School Holidays Planning’.
Since May 2017, Public Health Dorset has been working with the Dorset Head Teacher Alliance (HTA), to design and develop a project which builds on the strong evidence for physical activity improving attainment, achievement and emotional wellbeing.
