Street Soccer Scotland are one of the partners involved in the Young People Forward project. The project aims to use sport to improve the physical and mental health, self-efficacy and resilience of young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness across the North of England and Scotland. The project received £600,000 funding from the London Marathon Charitable Trust which was made possible from money donated by Virgin Money.
This case study highlights how Street Soccer has had a positive impact on three vulnerable young men enabling them to integrate into society, education and employment.
