As Trustees Week draws to a close, we want to take this opportunity to say a public THANK YOU to our Trustees. They are role models, challengers and champions. We appreciate the gift of their time, business skills, strategy, and expertise enabling our charity to develop and flourish.
This year’s theme of making a difference in changing times resonates with our journey and with the challenging times we all face. We have emerged from a review and staff restructure and go forward as a new team to meet the needs of the network of 43 place based Active Partnerships, helping create the conditions for an active nation. The Trustees, past and present, have helped guide the charity enabling us respond to the changing needs and environment.
Andy Taylor CEO, Active Partnerships says
I would like to publically thank Sue Storey, Eammon Holmes, Adrian Leather and Ian Hacon who have left the board along with outgoing Chair Adam Walker, their amazing work has been much appreciated. Also to Ali Shipway, Amanda Pearce-Higgins, Mike Sandys and Dick Fedorcio who are continuing as trustees and have worked especially hard during this transition period. We now are delighted to welcome Dr Maxine Rhodes, Tom Douglas and Rob Purdie to the board. In the new year we look forward to welcoming our new Chair and will be recruiting further independent members
