14 Active Partnerships are delighted to be part of the latest cohort joining the Leading for Renewal Programme (LFR).
Inclusive Employers is working with Sport England to deliver the one-year programme open to Sport England funded NGBs, Active Partnerships and other Partners.
Now in its second year the programme is an inclusion and diversity initiative, to help organisations thread inclusion into all their core functions and corporate priorities. This will help partners meet the aspirations of Sport England’s Uniting the Movement strategy, which aims to transform lives through sport and physical activity.
The LFR will help the Active Partnerships build the understanding and capacity needed to develop a strong and meaningful Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP). This will be achieved through attending LFR's three different programme tiers – Inclusive Leaders (for CEOs or equivalent), Inclusive Enablers (for Senior Managers), and Inclusive Influencers (for the wider workforce).
Some of the Active Partnerships involved in the programme outline below why they are looking forward to participating in it and what they hope to achieve.
